He was just fulfilling a role in my life without a real connection.  However, now that I realize that it is supposed to be what we had (tiny tiny sliver of what couple-dom is) and more.  It’s not me biting my tongue but speaking up letting the other that I don’t agree and here is why.  The fact that I didn’t did not even have to do with me but how he treats others with disrespect when they don’t agree.  Why would you continue to do something anyways just to see how uncomfortable the other person can get?  It’s one thing to playfully push buttons, but that was out of line.

I was blinded by the idea of it all.  I did have to make this mistake once.  Now I know.
